Double Chocolate Brownies

These decadent double chocolate brownies are easy to make.

Ingredients

1 (6- to 7-ounce) package (12 to 16)caramel or mint-filled chocolate squares

1 (10.25-ounce) package fudge brownie mix

1/3 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, melted

2 tablespoons water

1 Land O Lakes® Egg

Powdered sugar, if desired
 

Directions 

Heat oven to 350°F. Line 8-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil, extending foil over edges. Spray with no-stick cooking spray; set aside. Unwrap or break apart chocolate squares; set aside. 

Combine brownie mix, melted butter, water and egg in bowl; stir until well mixed.

Spread half of brownie batter into prepared pan. Place chocolate squares over batter in single layer. Top with the remaining batter; spread to cover chocolate completely. 

Bake 26-30 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
