Hearty breakfast packed with whole grain brown rice and raisins, topped with fresh fruit, granola and yogurt.

Ingredients

3 cups cooked Riceland Brown Rice 

2 cups skim milk

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup whole milk

1/3 cup raisins

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Fresh fruit, granola and yogurt for topping, if desired 

Directions 

In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the cooked rice, skim milk, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cook 10 to 12 minutes, stirring frequently, until mixture thickens slightly. 

Stir in the whole milk, raisins and vanilla. Cook 5 minutes more, stirring frequently, until mixture thickens slightly. 

Divide rice mixture between 6 bowls.

Top with the fruit, granola and yogurt, if desired
