1/2 cup apples, peeled & sliced (approximately 1/2 medium apple)
Margarine or butter, melted
Ground coriander (optional)
Bread slices (your choice: French, sourdough, wheat, multi-grain)
Cheddar or American cheese slices
Blend margarine, thyme & coriander. Brush 1 teaspoon on one side of each bread slice. On unbuttered side of bread slice layer: cheese slice, 1/2 cup apple slices, bread slice, buttered side out. Grill each side over low heat until cheese melts and bread is golden brown.
Serve immediately with tomato soup, or another favorite side.
