Ingredients
24 chicken wings
1/2 cup MUSSELMAN’S® Apple Butter
1/3 cup honey
3 Tablespoons spicy brown mustard
1 Tablespoon grated garlic
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon cumin
cilantro, chopped
honey granules (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add chicken wings to the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, flip sides and put back in oven for another 15 minutes. (If chicken wings are on the smaller size, cut down the cooking time to 10 minutes per side.)
Prepare the sauce while the wings are cooking. In a small pot add apple butter, honey, spicy brown mustard, grated garlic, chili powder, smoked paprika and cumin. Simmer on low so the sauce thickens slightly.
Remove wings from the oven, flip again and baste with apple butter honey mustard sauce.
Cook wings for 5 minutes, flip, baste with sauce and cook for another 5 minutes. If you like wings extra saucy, feel free to repeat this step one more time.
After cooking, remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped cilantro and honey granules.
