Tomato-Basil Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette

A fresh from the garden salad with a homemade balsamic vinaigrette.

Ingredients
SALAD
1 1/2 pounds large cherry
tomatoes, quartered
1/2 cup loosely packed sweet basil leaves

DRESSING
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon honey
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic

1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions
For the salad, combine tomato and basil in a shallow serving bowl.

For the dressing, whisk together olive oil and next 5 ingredients in a small bowl.

Drizzle dressing over tomato mixture, and toss well to coat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
