Ingredients
3 Land O Lakes® Garlic & Herb Sauté Express® squares
1 pound lean ground beef*
1 (8-ounce) package (2 cups) sliced fresh mushrooms
1 medium (1 cup) thinly sliced red onion
4 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Deli Swiss Cheese
4 hamburger buns
Lettuce leaves, if desired
Directions
Heat gas grill to medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
Place 2 Sauté Express® squares in bowl. Microwave 5-8 seconds or until softened. Stir until smooth; add ground beef; mix lightly. Shape ground beef mixture into four (4-inch) patties. Refrigerate 15 minutes.
Melt remaining Sauté Express® square in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat; add mushrooms and onions. Cook, stirring often, until mushrooms and onions are golden brown. Set aside; keep warm.
Place patties onto grill. Grill, turning once, 12-18 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 160°F or meat is no longer pink in center.
Top each burger with 1 slice cheese; remove from grill.
Place lettuce leaf, if desired, onto bottom half of buns. Top with burgers, mushroom mixture and top half of buns.
